"SAM" 5/26/1994 to 2/3/2008
Sam loved to ride shotgun with me, he loved to go to the creek and doze in the shade with me in the summer, he loved me without any strings attached.
So yesterday Sam took his last ride with me riding shotgun, he said it was time and I couldn't deny him.
There is so much I'd like to say about my best friend, my confidant, my inspiration, but I can't right now through the tears and heartache.
Thank you Carol and Kerry Nelson for the gift of Sam, to Kerry for building Sam's casket so he can be by the creek that he so loved, and where I can sit with Sam in the shade and just listen to the creek and ponder on life.
